The Vietnamese Prime Minister has asked the global Renewable Energy Industry to submit plans for 40GW of renewable energy generation to help his nation achieve its INDC’s

​

The WCCC is bringing together a strong Renewable Energy bidding Consortium, consisting of world class wind, solar, wave, & geothermal generators, with experienced engineering & consultancy companies to develop a National Renewable Energy Strategy for Vietnam.

The VREC proposal is however unique. Not only will it provide clean Renewable Energy to power the houses & industries of Vietnam’s 90 million residents. It will also deliver long term Food & Water Security to the nation. 

Off Shore Wind Energy - a Key Focus for Vietnam

The Vietnamese government has set an ambition that power generated from renewable sources should account for 44 per cent of total generated electricity, paving the way for international developers and suppliers to enter the industry.

According to the revised Power Development Plan (PDP 7),

 

Vietnam requires total investment of $143.5 billion to meet its double-digital energy demand growth. The Vietnam government is inviting foreign technical expertise and investment to participate in its energy projects. It is estimated that Vietnam requires investment of 15 billion per year, in which 75% is earmarked for power generation.

 

A strong emphasis on wind and solar opens up for international developers and suppliers to the industry.

The construction of 8 specially designed & engineered inter-linked housing blocks which will become the centerpiece of a sustainable community, consisting of 288 low income rental housing units/retail spaces & 2.2MW of Solar Generation

This world first solar village will be a fully operational showcase for national & international governments to evaluate before duplicating it in their own countries & states.
